Shield Capital announces Lisa Hill as Director of Investor Relations and Engagement

Lisa joins SHIELD after running business operations and marketing for the past five years for Resilience.

February 27, 2023: Shield Capital is excited to announce Lisa Hill as the firm’s Director of Investor Relations and Engagement. Lisa joins SHIELD after running business operations and marketing for the past five years for Resilience, a cybersecurity startup that has become the industry’s leading and fastest growing cyber insurer Resilience is also a SHIELD portfolio company.

Prior to Lisa’s work at Resilience, she spent 10 years working in the national security arena. Lisa spent 2 years at the Department of Defense’s startup, the Defense Innovation Unit Experimental, working to accelerate commercial technology into the DoD. Before DIU, Lisa supported strategic partnerships at United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM) and was a senior analyst for the U.S. Navy. Prior to joining Federal service, Lisa was a Fellow at the China Academy of Urban Planning and Design in Beijing partnering with the World Bank on economic development and sustainability strategies in the Pearl River Delta.

Lisa holds a B.A. in Political Science from California State University Long Beach, MA degree in Urban Planning and MA in Public Administration from the University of Southern California.

As a Navy spouse, for Lisa the Mission is personal.
